My Passport not recognized on PC

Hi 

I m using WD my passport 500gb 

it is not recognize on my windows vista laptop but working fine on Mac

it showing one of the USB device attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and windows does not recognize it. 

Please help.

Check disk management

it might be formatted for Mac and if so it will not work

try using  HFS Explorer
