My Passport ultra 2Tb transferring file very slowly(almost @30kbps) It was working fine few weeks back. then i stopped using it for a while. now it reads all the files but when i copy files from HDD to my PC, the transfer rate is very slow which is unexpected. Please help me out. also suggest me how to back up my data(almost 700gb) if i need to format it.

You can use a backup software to back the drive up in case the drive is having problems, you can also manually copy the files which are more direct. When you experience the slow transfer, are you trying to copy a lot of small files or large files?
