My WD My Cloud does not work anymore

Hi there, I have a problem with my WD My Cloud.
I can not connect to the network with the device. The LED stays white and a reset (4sec or 40sec) is not possible. I hear the hard drive spin but nothing happens. The device connects directly to the iMac or PC also does not work. I used the My Cloud for 3 years. Recently, the connection has become increasingly difficult. What can I do?

A white LED typically indicates the NAS is doing a file system check / recovery – which can take a LONG time.

How long have you waited?

From yesterday evening to this morning, so +/- 12 hours
I can hear the drive, nothing else.
Will I just leave the device connected?

Won’t hurt – give it to this evening and go from there.
