I have 3x 4TB Seagate hard drives containing all my film and TV content. I rip and export all my content via either my desktop or laptop.
Only a couple of days ago, I purchased a brand new new laptop and I am now sticking to this machine for my ripping/exporting. I have only been using one of the 3 drives for this in those past couple days - one which has been playing on my WDTV hub with no issues in the past couple months since I first bought it.
Now when I connect this harddrive to the WDTV it won’t read it. At all!
I tried reconnecting then safely disconnecting from the computer in case it misread it in some way, then I optimised it and still…nothing. It won’t recognize it. It will read and stream my other two drives but not this one.
I tried also connecting a small 128gb flash stick which I was also using on my new laptop (which has some video and music). It didn’t read that either.
Can someone possibly provide advice as to get my WDTV live reading my drive again, and whether or not connecting to a new computer has somehow interferred with it?
