Dear WD community
Since its my last hope, otherwise I still rotating through. I bought one a few days ago Live 2TB MyBook. I have also connected to my router (Speedport W503V - Telekom). So far so good. The LED indicator lights up front green. The Ethernet LEDs are also back OK. Orange is on and green flashes on and off.
I put the CD into my iMac and searched the hard drive, I found it. Could also access it but after few minutes (10min - 20min) I lose the connection to MyBook Live 2TB and thereafter I have no access. I always have to pull out the power adapter and plug it back and then the game starts again from new. What I noticed yesterday after I lost the connection, the LED display was somehow vieolett front / purple default. But not red.
Do I still ADJUSTING something or why I constantly lose the connection? And then I can not find again? 'Have Already done a reset etc but it simply does not work. I’ll go crazy. I hope you can post me some suggestions for solutions.
I’ve already written to the hotline yesterday, let’s see how long it lasts. Because I work every day and do not have time to call there.
