Mybook not recognized on my new comp

i just got a new pc and it is not able to recognize my mybook essential drive.   i just tried the drive on another computer and it works fine, so i dont think the problem is with my hard drive.  i am running windows 7 64bit.  any ideas on how i can get it to work?  thx
