currently, i can only stream my media via the proprietary wd2go solution,

however, to say the media player of the wd2go app is lackluster, would be a great understatement, it is barely usable unless you want to listen to a specific song which you know exactly where to find.

has anyone else managed to get the content to stream to another android player somehow?

Hello,

You should be able to stream your media files with a different player.

Check online they are multiple players that you can use.

I should, have been more specific, I meant ONLINE steaming, is there a way to stream REMOTELY to a different player?
