MyBookLive Cant connect via File Explorer Windows 10

Hello. So I have a MybookLive and it has been great. All of a sudden I cannot view my files Via File Explorer. I can connect with the Twonky Media server going through crome. I can also connect with my phone and upload and download files. Xbox and Playstation can view and play files from the MyBookLive. My question is… Why all of a sudden can my 3 pc’s in the house cannot connect through File Manager?? Some sort of Windows issue? Thanks for reading. I really appreciate any info

There is a known issue related to Windows 10 and NAS devices. Check the Network and Sharing Center in order to confirm your network is set to Private with Network Discovery enabled, and manually map your shares using your unit’s IP address.

I have tryed to map my drive… It dosent detect it. It has a flashing green light on the front. I have Tryed to reset the harddrive and let it cool down over night and i still get the flashing Green light. Thanks for the input.

Green light isnt flashing anymore  Still cant Map the drive…

I have installed All the Western Digital software downloads. I can view all my files using WD My Cloud. But i cannot download anything still. I can download using Twonky but its a crappy program. Still cannot map drive into File Manager.

I have the same problem discovered after updating a VAIO netbook to Windows10.
Same problem present also with my new tablet ASUS with Windows10.

It’s not possible to map the drive nor to access to it through the file browser.

I download the MB Live Windows setup and the outcome of the analisys of this tool is that there is some problem and that it will not be possible to copy/paste file from the device, brows the shared folder of the device and execute the mapping of a shared folder.

Please help us to solve this issue as soon as possible becouse the device cannot be used in this way and I’m going to replace it with another device if there problem is still there the next month

Any NAS will give you the same issue, this is a wide known MS issue. Please search for solutions, as there are multiple out there, and different ones seem to work for different people.
Lots on this forum as well as in others.
