MyBookLive Won't Connect, now I need to reset PW?

Hi…

I have two (2) WD NAS drives; a 3TB MyCloud and a 2TB MyBookLive.  All of a sudden, the 2TB MBL won’t connect, all I get is a “_ Connection Failed _” message.  I have tried restarting my iMac, powering down the MBL and then powering it up again, still shows an amber LED up front after showing blue on power up.  The LED by the ethernet jack is lit/flashinggreen.

The other drive is connected to the same Switch, its working fine.  The MBL had been working fine, no problems for quite some time.  So as a last resort, I stuck a paperclip in the reset, pulled the power and the ethernet, then re-plugged.  The LED turned flashing green, but its looking for a password to log in and the old PW didn’t work?

How do I reset the password without losing all my data.  Apparently I can sign in as a guest, but I need to straighten this out as soon as possible.

LOL… that link opens a 125+ page manual.  Would it be possible to actually mention the specific page of the default password?  BTW, I can only access it as a Guest right now.

After spending a couple of sessions with a really nice guy [Deleted] from WD Level II support, he concluded that they will replace my drive as everything we tried didn’t work.  Last week I was able to logon as a Guest, but I’m having trouble doing that now even though the drive is showing a BLUE LED after a 20 second reset and some boot time.  I have to get some data off the drive so I can send it back to WD.  Is there any way to force at least the guest login again?
