Mybookworld II act as local drive?

I’m trying to be EXTRA safe and I’d like to back up my book world II to a cloud. But the service I’ve bought into will only allow me to back up what’s on my machine and any external hard drives and specifically says it does not back up networked drives.

Is there any way to get my world book to act as a local drive on my Mac?
