MyCloud and existing Time machine backup

Hi all

Quick question, i have just bought a 3tb mycloud to use for time machine on 2 macbook pro’s. I already have existing up to date backups on a usb hdd, is it possible to copy these to the timemachine share (into the sparsebundle created for each device) to save from having to do a full inital backup as it looks like this would take days

Not sure if that’s possible since you will be changing the location of the backup from a local drive to a network drive.

Check on the apple support to see if that might be possible, or let see if any of the users on the Community have tried that.
