MyCloud not working with IOS

When I switched to Win10 I lost my networked MyClouds. Someone helped me change the settings in Windows 10 so now I can access them from my laptop. But now I can’t connect from my iPhone app! I’d been using the app to download my pics from my phone to MyCloud.

It says the unit is offline, but I can access it from my laptop. Any suggestions?

Access the My Cloud Dashboard > Settings and disable Remote Access/Cloud Access. Wait a few minutes. Then reenable Remote Access/Cloud Access and try to access the My Cloud again with iOS.

If above does not help, remove and reinstall MC app on phone.

Hi Nova,

Just to clarify your using the IOS app WD app ?
If you log in say with the browser to the WD drive this is a quick check to see if you can get in.
You should be able to do this on the phone in safari provided you have at hand your user name and password.

Note iPad 4 generation the app will install but not work with WD my cloud

So iPhone 5 and above do work with the WD app

FYI,
The My Cloud app installs and works on my iPad/3Gen and works with my My Cloud NAS device. It also works with my latest iPad 2017 and iPhone 7. No issues at all.Other apps in iOS devices. Also works to explore My Coud files using other apps such as File Browser.
