Have been suffering most of the unreliability issues reported here. Recently upgraded to 1.06.28 and it’s become much worse. Box locks up, falls to connect to the Internet several times each day. Can’t use remote access for two reasons. Firstly box is never up and running long enough when I’m away. And now when I try to enable WD2GO in the admin pages (seems the update set this to disable) I just get “500 Internal server error”. Not sure if any of the previous posts are relevant to this? What should I try? I’m using the standard settings, nothing clever. The hard drive has lots of content on it, especially images and I have so far failed to access my picture library remotely. WD Photos has never worked, out of several thousand images stored, at best I could only see 5/6 random ones remotely. This box seems to be a waste of space right now, however for the range of features I would like to be able to use, I don’t see an alternative. Any thoughts on how to breath life in to the box again?Otherwise I will just remove the WD N900 and arrange remote access to my windows server and accept more power consumption.

I can tell you what works for me. Downgraded to 1.4.11 and added a cheal laptop cooler under the router powered by the router’s USB port.
No hanging anymore…
