Does anyone know why Netflix would play in green? We just purchased the WD TV live plus and set it up through the hard drive to an Onkyo amp that is connected to projector through hdmi. Everything seems to be fine when streaming from the hard drive, but after we select and play anything from netflix the WD TV live plus loses the connection and reconnects displaying everything in green. It will play the movie, but the movie is green…even if we back all the way out to the WD menu it stays green. It has to be rebooted to return to the proper color. We have tried several things but can’t seem to get this to work. Any ideas?
Sounds like the HDCP handshake Netflix does is changing the colorspace. Next time it does it, try manually toggling the HDMI colorspace settingin the setup menu and see what happens.
I too am havig the same issue. I thought it had to do with the SD output, but it is even doing it on the HD stuff now. I tried to see if it was because the system was forcing widescreen or something similar and it changed nothing. Changing the HDMI between 8bit and 12bit does nothing either. This stinks because that is the reason I bought the hub.
8-bit versus 12 bit WONT change it.
Try changing your COLORSPACE.
