I’m try to find out some stuff about how to set up the My Book Live Duo. I’m new to the forum, and could use some advice. I originally set up a share with photos, music, and videos. However, it seems like when I add music to the shared folder, even if it doesn’t have artwork in the folder, it adds the album artwork to the shared photos. This is kinda annoying as I’d like to keep the files in my music separate from the photos (what I thought was the whole idea of having seperate folders). I did see one post where someone (TonyPh12345 I believe) where they mentioned to turn on PHOTO sharing in the photos share, MUSIC in music, etc, but I’m not exactly sure what that means. Can anyone give me an idea of what I should be doing? And also, is it some program within the MBL that’s gathering this artwork? I don’t see any album art in the folders and then they just show up once I put in the shared music folder. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

The photos that you see are downloaded by the DNLA media server. Unfortunately there is no way to disable the metadata option. If you have the option to access a shared folder you can create a separate shared folder outside from the public folder and the media server will not use it.
