I am new to the PR2100 but have managed to set up the device and access from my network. I have set up a user account for a family member, with user email address and a password, enabled remote access and granted share access. My user has received an email (which initially went to Junk) and has followed the link to set up access. The link led to a web page with MyCloud at the top, in a blue band, but nothing else - he is therefore unable to complete setup. We also tried to gain access through MyCloud.com using his email address and the password I set up for him - that resulted in a message saying username or password incorrect. I then checked the manual for the device that says to access via the desktop app - which, after a lot of searching has resulted in me finding out that WD no longer supports this app. How am I supposed to give access for remote users if the email link does not work and the manual is out of date? I have tried logging the problem with WD Support but that service is currently unavailable. Can anyone provide me with simple, current, instructions for how to enable my user to gain access to the share I need him to be able to access remotely?
