No digital audio signal over HDMI With the previous or actual firmware release and other bugs

  1. if “DIGITAL” is chosen in audio output settings, WDTV Live is not sending digital audio like dolby digital 5.1 or DTS 5.1 through HDMI, but only silence, this happens with any video file with dolby digital 5.1 or DTS 5.1, like MKV or AVI, but if I play any DVD iso or video_ts folder, sound is heard but only in stereo, that means that WDTV is downmixing the audio signal instead of sending it in raw mode to be decoded by an external A/V decoder.

2. When playing DVDs after changing chapters the info bar doesn’t disappear, you have to press ok in the remote in order to hide it.

  1. I haven’t been able to connect to facebook yet, it keeps displaying the same error that I have to configure network settings.

yes…i’m having the same issues and the new update hasn’t fixed the problem yet.

IM having a problem with all my sound

its all distorted sounds really bad be it from my HD or the internet

any1 have any ideas what i can try to do??

Some people report that the distorted sound issue is fixed with factory reset and a cold reset.
