Hello, I have a WD Elements hard drive with usb 3.0 technology. However when I plug it into a usb 3.0 drive on my computer I’m only getting about 30mb/s. At first its closer to 200mb/s but it drops off and settles at 30mb/s. Should it be a lot higher?
Check to see that your MB and USB and other drivers are up to date preferably from the hardware manufacturer.
