Hi, this is my second WD Digital hard drive that has failed on me, I tried to have a little faith and give Western Digital a second try but it is just not responding at all. The light indicates that it’s connected to my computer but it does not respond to my windows computer or laptop. I have important things in my hard drive that I need to retreive.
The serial number is WDBABM0010BBK-NEBB.

Do you feel the drive vibrating or spinning? Have you replace the USB cable? try connecting the drive to the computer back USB port.
I’m having the same problem. The light is on but nothing is turning. I’ve tried different USb cables and on different computers with no luck.
ALso tried diff’t ports.
I am having the same problem tooo. I have checked all the different usb-port, still it does not work. the light is on but do not feel it spinning. check it on the control panel and it has all the utd drivers/new - but says code 10(??) with a caution sign next to the port: will not start
_ Please help me _ and tell what to do to make it work, I have ,like everybody else, very important information on it, also use it as my backup. so far i have use only a fraction of gig that is listed. help!
