Hi, it’s been off now for the last 48hrs anyone else experiencing this? WD Home 4tb only purchased in December!! I have pressed the reset button and no change, also took power away and disconnected at least twice.
I have the same problem since 20th of January. Still studying my case in wd support…
Wow, ok blimey that’s a LONG time!! this is really annoying doesn’t look like they’ve had any input in this site for some time. Keep me posted mate i’ve tried all sorts this is terrible, sounds like a technical issue rather than the drive itself but i could be wrong…
Hi Mate any luck with yours? i completely unplugged mine from the mains and wifi for about half a day today, just plugged it back in and hey presto it’s back on!
I have exactly the same Problem, tried everything… (reset of WD, router, direct access, unstall, reinstall etc.) now I will also unplug it for longer time now… hope for the best 
It’s been back on fine since will see how long it lasts!?
