Recently I had to get my Mac repaired and the leopard os reinstalled by Geek Squad. I tried reconnecting my passport external, but after I type in the password the icon does not appear anywhere on my Mac for me to access the files.
This might be a setting on your Mac. If you open up a Finder window after you unlock your drive, do you see your Passport on the left-hand side?
