Passport Unlocker Problem?

Hello all! Recieved my 1TB Passport Essential SE yesterday and loved it! However, I decided to add the WD Smartware to the Passport so I could lock it down. Now, I am prompted to submit my password. That works fine. My password works and the drive unlocks like I intended. Unfortunately I only have access to the unlocker partition which is 22.7Mb. The rest of the drive is not accessible that I can see.

Doing a search, I saw at least one other person with this problem but didn’t see any solutions. Any ideas? I’ve upgraded both the firmware and the software to no avail… ;-( It might be worth mentioning that prior to installing the WD Smartware, the drive worked fine. Had access to the entire 1TB.

It is possible that you have a corrupted partition if you are unable to see the drive icon along with the Smartware software icon. I would recommend you to test the drive on a different computer and if the issue remains, you might need to format the drive.

What capacity is reported by tools such as HD Sentinel or HDDScan?
