I just upgraded from an older WDTV and went to my network share which I had set up years ago and watched videos last night. I watched a bunch of videos. It asked me for a password and I selected the default “anonymous” password. It worked fine. Today I went to watch videos and again and the anonymous password doesn’t work. Not sure what happened. What password is it asking for? My Homegroup? Router? Or what?
I reset my PC and now the anonymous password works. Anyone know why this is happening?
i had the same problem when i tried to connect to my pc too and i solved it by creating a user on my pc with the name WDTVLIVE and password 1234 and then i could find everything i shared on my pc.
