Please help.

I have a My book live duo which is 3 years old, which has 2 hard drive (WD30EZRX) as raid 1. One of the hard drives (WD30EZRX) has died. The problem is that I live in Dubai and cant find this model in dubai or find any company that will ship to Dubai.

Can I use a different hard drive model?

Hi,

It’s recommended that you user the same line of drives on these units due to the firmware information on the drives.

You might be able to use a different one. But I can not guarantee you that it will rebuild the RAID properly.
