Please Help Problem With Backing Up

Hi, I bought a 1B My book elite a couple days because I want to back up my files on my PC. Everything was working fine like I expect it to be but when I am backing up it had done 260gb and when I checked a couple hours later it was on 185gb.it went down… Any answers I really need help

Are you using SmartWare?  And what are you trying to backing up?
