So, I am curious if anyone has figured out how to update the Plex Media Server software on the My Cloud Home. Plex is a great piece of software and I would like to keep it up to date. I have searched the interwebs and read through all the resources I could find, but still don’t know how to don’t. Thoughts?
@PrivacyMatters as of today, My Cloud Home services (Plex and others) cannot be manually updated by the end users.
Okay. Good to know. How often does WD update the software on the drive?

This is terrible. I feel I was conned by the advertising as this box is nothing more than an expensive external hard drive that I can not even use as I want to. It should not be called a NAS.
