From the last 2-3 months my WD device (EX-4100) is experiencing sudden power loss and it stops working until manually power cycling the device. The error is " Power loss detected on port 1 & port 2", I change the power cable to port 1 & port 2 but the issue remains the same. I test the device with number of built in disk & full device test & all show no error or problem. Also, I change the power source to three different locations but issue did not resolved. All IT equipment in data center is connected to UPS including WD device but no one have this issue except WD device. Also, there is another NAS device from Lenovo which is connected to the same UPS as WD & it is working without any problem. The device firmware version is “2.30.165”.
