Problem: dropbox app downloads only, no upload

Hi together,

It’s my first Community entry here, and the first one in english at all. So please have pity with me ;).

I made out, that the dropbox app is realy new for MCM, but my app dont seems to work properly.

I initiate the app and the MCM download the corresponding folder structure from the dropbox.

Then I copied many Files and folders in the “local sync folder” over the windwos explorer. I configured, that a part of them should be synchronized (choosed the dropbox sync folder). But the app isn’t synchronizing the folder. The local files won’t be uploaded.

Is it a bug? Do I make something wrong?

Please help me, it’s only one of the many problems I’m fighting out with this buggy / user-unfriendly NAS.

Welcome to the WD Community.

When you say the local files won’t be uploaded, where are those files located?

What firmware are you running on the device?

The files were located on the public share in the defined dropbox folder and the Firmware-Version is 1.05.30

One day later I dismount the dropbox account and mount it again. Then the upload started and works fine.

I will try it again to verify the behavior.
