Problem with not having permission to spend documents on WD My passport

I am unable to access files in the ‘Documents’ folder on My Passport for Mac after entering my password. Please help?

Are you able to access other folders within your unit? Do you get a particular error message? Can you drag the entire folder to your desktop?
