PS3/Xbox 360/Aquos TV not reading files off MyBookLive

Hello,

I have a Western Digital My Book Live 3 TB Personal Cloud Storage Drive and I have been using this to stream media to my various devices (PS3/Xbox 360/Sharp Aquos TV) for some time now. I’ve never had any problems until the other day when we had some power outages. Naturally, this caused everything to reboot.

Since then, whenever I go to the TwonkyMedia on any of my devices I’ve listed, there are no files found. The MyBookLive seems to be in working order. I can view and transfer files to and from it with my PC and everything is viewable just fine from my laptop. It’s the streaming to media devices that is giving my problems. For example, if I go to the Videos on my PS3 and select the TwonkyMedia, it says “There are no titles” and does not display my usual folders.

I’ve done everything I know to try, including:

-Resetting modem and router

-resetting and unplugging MyBookLive, as well as unplugging the ethernet cable coming from the device

-disabling and reneabling media streaming within my devices (ex. PS3)

-Reconfiguring the internet setups on these media devices

I’ve seen similar posts through google searches but so far I haven’t found a helpful answer to my problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi, from the my book dashboard go to settings, media, media streaming and click on rescan.

Press the rebuild not the reacan button. I had the same problem and this worked for me!

.

That worked great for me as well.  Just rebuild it.

found it! just to to WD book setting under media tab go to TWONKY MEDIA and press resbuilt!
