Hi, i would like to access my mycloud folder when i’m at school, so remotely and without the wd sync software.

With the old version, i was able to add a network drive (mapping) when i was outside of my house with the “add explorer” option.

Now, with the new version, i don’t see this option on www.wd2go.com . So how can i do this?

Why i want to do this, it’s for “save as” new document directly in my mycloud drive.

Hi, unfortunately on the new www.wd2go.com web page, the options to map a network share is not there, as this used Java and is no longer used.

In my opinion, not supporting a network share is a shame. The device is sold as a cloud device and accessing it as a network drive is basic functionallity of such a device and actualy the reason for me to buy one. It this functionality to be added again later?

Look into NetDrive. You might have to open a few ports on your router to get it to work.

netdrive is not really a solution. I have purchase this thing because on the box it was listed the share was a function.

I has work 1 month before they removed it

i really need to find the solution to do it
