I just bought the WDMycloud drive in order to backup my Macs remotely. My plan was to put the NAS at antother house and let the Macs do their Time machine backups to it over the internet. The idea being that the backup should be physically separated from the computers in case of a fire. But when I log on to my drive via the WDMycould app on the computers when they are not on the same network as the NAS I can’t find it in Finder under shared drives as I can when I’m on the network of the NAS. Am I doing something wrong or is this not possible to do? Thanks in advance

Not sure if that’s possible. Check with apple support to see if the time machine performs remote backups.
Throught the WD apps, you wont be able to run a remote backup.
