Remote Control Problem

My Up and Down buttons do not work

I have tried:

resetting the unit

unplugging the unit

replacing batteries

can anyone suggest a solution that does not involve buying a wireless keyboad, thanks

btw, am i the only one still having a problem with the remote. Been having problems from day 1. and i am now in my 6th week.
