So I have an older EX4 NAS. I had been using it for remote backups from my Pro4100 NAS, but the OS 5 upgrade broke that. I have a work around, but I really don’t like my solution. I was wondering if a person can install a different NAS OS on it, like Free NAS or Open Media Vault, or some other open source NAS?
Has anyone tried it?
