Resetting to Factory settings

Hi,

After ugrading to the latest firmware 2.07.17 which I wish I had never done due to major issues within the unit now I have tried restting back to the factory setting via the system menu and as well as a hard reset (holding the reset button in under the unit) it has made no difference to any of the settings on the unit, nothing has changed at all.

Does anyone know if I am doing it the right way? How do I know the unit has been reset back to factory settings?

PLEASE HELP!

Well, the following should be obviously noticible:

1- Your VIEW settings return to defaults.

2- Your DEVICE NAME will be back to “WDTVLIVEHUB” if you changed it.

3- Your WORKGROUP will be back to “WORKGROUP” if you had changed it.

4- All Online Service Accounts will be disabled requiring you to re-login.

5- The Background image will be back to the grassy meadow.

6- The Screensaver will be back to WDLOGO / 5 minutes.

7- Your NAS Login credentials will be gone.

8- Your WiFi settings will be gone.

9- The media Library will be purged…

etc. etc.
