Hello there ,
I have got a My Book World Edition and it has been working fine with WD Anywhere back up software which I use to back up my laptop.
From couple of days ago , my laptop crashed and I had to restart it and I found WD anywhere in the windows start up with its initial message that I have got no back up and I have to create one. I tried to reactive the old Backup plan but I received the following error msg :
The Backup destination you selected does not appear to have an inactive backup plan located there, please select another destination.
The thing is that the backup files are there. So what exactly happened and what should I do !!??
I did not upgrade the Windows OS , my Windows OS is Vista home premium.
Another question related to windows , is it true that I can’t retrieve my back up files automatically if I upgrade from Vista to Windows 7 !!?
