I have two NAS drives that I have had for quite a while. One is the My Book Live 2T and the other is a My Cloud 2T. The My Book Live has been acting weird recently. It used to be that I could access videos that were stored on them through my Roku Media Player. Now, the only NAS that Roku recognizes is the My Cloud. When I click on the MBL icon from the RMP, it tells me that there is no compatible media available on it. I noticed that the My Book uses Twonky Media, but the My Cloud does not.
I just recently reinstalled the MBL windows setup file to see if it would reset everything, but it did not.
Short of purchasing a new NAS device and transferring everything to it, is there a work-around or a fix to this problem?
Never mind. For some reason, it came back and I can now access the drive from my roku player.
