Anyone had this issue? Smartware works fine for a couple of days and then states that all the files on MBL are NOT backed up. After resettibng, rebooting etc etc eventually these files are backed up again. Then after working fine for a few days the files are considered NOT backed up and are then backed up again!! Nothing has happened to these files in the meantime - they haven’t been amended, renamed, relocated etc For some reason Smartware thinks they need backing up again. I’m getting very frustrated by this as it incurs unecessary processing time AND disk space as each time a file is backed up it creates anorther version. Just logged on to my laptop today and the same thing has happened again and I am currently while all the same files are backed up again!! Whenever I contact WD all I get is advice to completely re-install the drive and software. I shouldn’t have to do this every week!! I bought MBL as I thought it was a hands off solution to my backup needs but I am spending more time on this than I ever did when I manually copied folders to an external USB hard drive.

you might want to restore files, delete and restart the backup
