Saving Files From WD My Cloud

I just purchased the 2TB My Cloud and thus far I must say I am extremely satisfied with my purchase.  

One of the main reasons I bought it was to share photos and videos with family members who live several states away.  I know that I can upload files and give my family members access to view these files.  However, is there a way that these family members can download pictures and/or videos from the device?

Also, is it possible for my family members to add files from their computer to my device remotely (without explaing the FTP process to them)?

I am sorry if this has been asked before but I could not find it after searching.

First read the WD My Cloud User Manual. It will tell you how to set up additional Users.

When you use the dashboard, and WD SmartWare be sure to open and read the Help (?) information. Under the Help tab of the SmartWare  at the bottom is a link to the Online User Manuals.

 

Reading and using all of the above should answer all of your questions as to how the WD My Cloud works.

Thank you for the reply.  I have plenty of users set up as well as have given them access to view files.  I only want to know if there is a way for my family members to upload files from their local machines to my cloud device over the net without using FTP?
