Product concerned is the ShareSpace 8tb NAS. It has been working nicely before this incident.
Yesterday I upgraded the firmware to the latest version available. The download and installation went smoothly. I also saw the kernel update at 100%, there was also another “segment” that updated nicely to 100%.
After the upgrade the sharespace shows up via WD Link (at the fixed IP I have set it). It also responds to ping. I can also access the Twonky. The main configuration web page and mounting are not working.
How can I access the machine? I have already tried the “small” reset that resets the basic settings. I think we are using RAID5.
I too am having the same issues since updating the firmware on my 4tb unit. It is formatted in Raid 5. WD Link sees the unit and I can access the drives and folders but cannot access the web interface to configure. I have forced an IP address change and it made no difference. If someone can please assist, it would be greatly appreciated. The unit is pretty useless overall if one cannot access the User Interface.
