ShareSpace Restore Factory Default Operating Time

I have started Restore Factory Default Settings option on web interface of WD Share space. I wonder, how much time needed to be completed that process? I have been waiting for much than one hours than %9 completed yet. It seems continuing all the day or more. Is this normal?

I’ve seen a raid rebuild take up to 2 full days, although it usually finishes in less time than that. Only thing you can do is wait.

Greetings!

I had started the “Restore to Factory” (8 TB) process through the Web interface. Since then the following LEDs have been blinking:

  • Power
  • HDD (All )
  • Network activity
    (HDD and Network LEDs are blinking at the same time while the Power LED has a small desync)
    The BackUp LED is permanently on.

Finally, it took 40 hours to successfully accomplish “Restore to Factory”.
