SMB Access - Only one PC?

With support for the desktop app ending soon for the My Cloud Home, I set up the SMB using these steps.

It worked fine on one laptop and I was able to see my files. However strangely when I first click on the network drive there are 3 folders. The folder I named with my username with all the files, and then a “Public” and “TimeMachineBackup” which I did not make. I’m not sure what to do with those.

The bigger issue I have is that while these steps worked fine on one of my Windows laptops, I can not get it to work at all on my other laptop which I have the same login details for.

I receive an error saying

You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions.
Multiple connections to a server or shared resource by the same user, using more than one user name, are not allowed. Disconnect all previous connections to the server or shared resource and try again

Is it really only possible to have 1 PC connected to the NAS? Surely that’s hardly even a solution?
Also, how do I disconnect 1 PC from the network drive after setting it up, I don’t even see anywhere to do this.

Any help is appreciated thanks. Think WD need to handle this better.
