I have copied by CD collection as wav files onto a WD elements hard disc. I am playing these files through a WDTV Hub media player and a Cambridge Audio DAC into an Arcam amplifier.
This has been successful over 98% of the time. The problem is that some tracks refuse to play at all. What is puzzling is that it is usually only one track per CD that fails to play while all other tracks are fine. The tracks that fail using the WD media player play fine on a computer . Re-copying the CD using different software produces that same results.
Anyone have any ideas why this is happening?
