Sorting Files in Web File Viewer?

I’m pretty sure i know the answer to my problem but i wanted to double check with everyone.

When viewing files through the web file viewer, is there any way to sort the files to see what’s been added most recently instead of alphabetically?
I just wanted to make sure it’s something that i didn’t over look.

Which browser and OS do you use? My files are automatically sorted in alphabetical order by default.

I’m wading into this. Got the same issue. I’m using the latest Firefox browser. There is no way to sort the list into a desired order.

I’ll be bluntly honest, the web file viewer as it is needs throwing away and redesigning. For very simple tasks it’s ok. For managing a lot of files and folders it’s absolutely useless, especially when I need to find a file or folder within an extensive list.

That’s what i kinda figured. Just wanted to make sure i wasn’t missing something.
Seems like an easy addition Western Digital could make to the firmware.

It’s not part of the firmware. It’s one of their apps. So I guess WD would be able to update the Web File Viewer without a full firmware update?
