I just purchased a WDTV Live Plus, and would like to know if would be possible to stream Internet Media (e.g. a Web site displaying TV episodes) through the WDTV?

On any WD TV Live device you buy you will only have the applications that come with the device ( that may change when a new firmware is released ) . It means at this time you will be able to stream, Netflix, Cinema Now, Youtube etc.
Anything other than that is not possible at this time.-

Athough its not being widely supported, Some sites are allowing you to fling (Flingo) their content to the WD.
