Ok i have WD TV Live. I was running firmware 2.02.32 and the other day my hub started freezing on me. I called WD support and we did a hard rest of my unit. Then we did a firmware roll back to 2.01.86. Now everything works great. But today when i went to watch a mkv file I noticed my subtitle were white not yellow like they have been for over a year. I went into settings and found the subtitle section but now theres no list for color changes like there was. So today i called WD support again and we did a firmware upgrade back to 2.02.32 and still same issue. everything else works great but i can not change the subtitle colors. Please can someone help me figure this out. Thanks

This forum is for the 2009 model WDTV Live HD and 2010 model WDTV Live Plus.
The forum for the 2011 WDTV Live Streaming Media Player is here: http://community.wd.com/t5/WD-TV-Live-SMP-Discussions/bd-p/streaming_discussions
Are you using a custom theme? If so, try using the default grid or Mochi themes and see if that’s the issue.
Also, make sure the subtitles in question are TEXT-based subtitles. SRT / SSA , etc. If they’re VOBSUB or SUP format, you can’t change those colors as the color is defined in the subtitle itself.
I am Just using what is on the box. I have not added anything custom to it. As far as the subtitles i add them with MKV TOOLNIX to my files they are SRT subs always. I have tried to find a way to change the SRT color before putting it on my video file but cant find a way to change color.
Not sure what to tell you, then. The option is certainly there.
Options → Adjust Subtitle → Color.
