I just bought a new media player and updraded my WD Live media player to version 1.04. When I am playing an XVid files and try to turn on the subtitles, it says “No Subtitle” in the options menu. I have triple checked that there is a .srt file in the folder of my external hard drive. Any suggestions/help?
You say this is on a USB drive attached to the WDTV?

Pls check whether the .srt file is of the same name as the video file
As long as the filenames are identical (except for the extension) you should get subs. Maybe the files are corrupt, open them in Subtitle Workshop, add a blank somewhere and save the file to see if it makes a difference.
