Subtitles options do not show

Hi,
I bought the streamer WD TV play.
It works fine and i can watch a movie but i don’t see any of the subtitles options on the screen.
I tried the types- srt & sub, both with the same name of the movie and in different folder for the movie.

I have read the user guid and on page 46 it shows the option- subtitle & adjust subtitle & delete,   for me it don’t show them and this is the problem.

Please, how can i add subtitles to my video!

Sub? What Sub? Idx/Sub = VobSub? In any case, the sub obviously must be in the ame folder as the video file.

Have you opened the subtitle file in an editor and made sure that it was what you expected? This evening I actually came across the same problem. When I opened the srt file it was all sorts of garbage. It had gotten corrupted when I copied it between drives. The WD Device couldn’t read it as a subtitle file so did not give me the subtitle menu under options. I replaced it with another copy and it worked fine

Open it up and take a look.

SRT it’s simply a File TEXT with a precise strings.

I have try some AVI/SRT (whit same name) and it’s working without problems.
