This network share can not be accessed

I never change anything, sometimes I get this error.  But right now I keep getting it.

Anybody have any idea what causes it?

It always says “This network share can not be accessed” the first time I try and lets me in the second time.   But this time it keeps saying it, ive tried it like 10 times.

Try rebooting both boxes, your server and the wdtv.

I have the same problem with auto log-on failing on the 1st attempt, however it always works the 2nd time. I was told that this was a known problem. This happens with both the original firmware and all Beta firmwares as well. Here is a thread I started about that problem.

If it doesn’t connect on the 2nd attempt you have some other issue. Sorry I can’t think of anything else to try other than what Tony already posted… except maybe to press the reset button on the WD.

I just shut it off for a few hours and now it works agian… lol
