Time Machine unable to backup using Wi-fi network but working via Ethernet port

I am getting Error Message "Time Machine couldn’t complete the backup to “MyCloudEX2Ultra.local”. when Mac is connected via WI-FI network. But Time Machine works fine when Mac is connected via Ethernet port.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Don’t know if this works, but give it a try.

In the Mac system settings go to Time Machine, remove the My Cloud EX2 Ultra as backup disk, thereafter add it again as backup disk - also try to disconnect the Mac’s wifi and then reconnect again to your wifi.
